NRCS National Water and Climate Center

The mission of the National Water and Climate Center (NWCC) is "to lead the development and transfer of water and climate information and technology which support natural resource conservation." The five functions of the NWCC are: Natural Resource Planning Support; Data Acquisition and Management; Technology Innovation; Partnerships and Joint Ventures; and Technology Transfer. The NWCC operates the Snowpack Telemetry (SNOTEL) data collection system for the United States.
